On November 22, 2022, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo attended the movie screening of ” 2 Weeks in Lagos” written and produced by Nigerian-Canadian filmmaker, Kathryn Fasegha (BalminGilead Move Productions). The movie screening was to promote the contributions of Nigerian-Canadians in the film industry both in Nigeria (Nollywood) and Canada.
Many Nigerian-Canadian filmmakers were present and had an opportunity to discuss the opportunities for a co-production treaty between Nigeria and Canada in the film industry.
The event was sponsored by the Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa, Nigeria-Canada Trade & Investment Group, Bank of Industry, RED TV and Chazz Financial.
