Canadian businesses such as CPCS and EM-ONE Energy have been successful in the renewable energy sector in the northern states of Nigeria. Philip Asante of CPCS and Mir Islam of EM-ONE discussed the successes and the opportunities of doing business in Nigeria.

Education institutions such as Maple Canadian College and Meadowland Canadian School are shaping post-secondary education where students can receive Canadian high school diploma in Nigeria. This allows international students to be more competitive to gain admission into universities in Nigeria and all over the world.

Improving training for teachers ultimately improves the learning level of students. 1 Million Teachers in partnership with Queens University Faculty of Education, is changing how we improve learning for teachers in Nigeria and other African countries


 

INVESTMENT IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

Agriculture continues to be a priority in the current administration. Nigeria is on the path to economic recovery and independence. Bank of Agriculture, NIRSAL as well as private sector agricultural companies from Canada such as xarvio (BASF) and AGI Fertilizer Systems provided insights on how their technologies can improve agriculture practices in Nigeria.
